you have to trust me. i need you on this one. i need you to trust me on this one. i know we make mistakes. jenkins, do you trust me? ok jenkins, are you in my team? it's just us now. copy me. i'm sorry. i'm used to making mistakes. it's one small step for... are you a baptist? you have to trust me on this one. ok? in the past. ok? i'm your only child. stop smiling jenkins, this is serious, this one is for justice. just jump. it's a leap of faith. i didn't know at the time, you just have to trust me on this one. we have to stick together. in all this awfulness. you only count on jenkins. ok?

pygmalion is a performance about men as a creative being. underneath the shadow of a dark force of nature, a happy game starts over and over again. two people on the scene. above them a huge rock. they meet, say goodbye, meet again, die, get up, shoot each other, get up again, transform from posh lady to screaming dog. over and over again, they remodel themselves and their reality as hyperbolic humans. frenetically, they seem to want to avert the apocalypse by constant renewal. when the radical change does arrive, it is not so much a great spectacle as a small and nice awareness.

"pygmalion wins you over with interesting dramaturgy and perky rhythm." (knack, ****) (complete article in dutch)

"the absurd and existential blend in perfectly with the comic and fantastic. binon and dousselaere are dreamers ideating in empty space. artists of life putting into perspective our performance oriented society of more, better, higher, further." (de standaard, ****) (complete article in dutch / extended unpublished article in dutch)
